To ensure that ABACE is a valuable event for all Exhibitors, there are limitations on the Stand designs permitted in the Hangar and Exhibitor Pavilion. For all “Raw” Space booked, Exhibitors must submit scaled floor plans for approval to ABACE Management no later than February 25, 2013.

Please keep in mind the following when planning your indoor Exhibit Space at ABACE:

• Hanging signs, lighting trusses, materials or components are NOT permitted in the Exhibitor Pavilion or the Hangar at ABACE2013.
• Perimeter hard walls occupying 50% of the Stand Space are not permitted in Non-Perimeter Island Spaces.
• Please try to avoid blocking small Exhibits when planning your Exhibit Space.

Raw Space

A minimum of 36 sq meters (6m by 6m) Island configuration is required in order to reserve “Raw” Exhibit Space.

No inline Booth Spaces will be sold as “Raw” Space.

Premium Shell Inline Stand

A Premium Shell Inline Stand contains one or more 3 m by 3 m units in a straight line with Stands on either side and/or behind its back wall.

• All Premium Shell Inline Stands include 2.5 m (8 ft high) solid backwall and sidewall panels.
• The maximum permitted height of Exhibit materials, components and identification signs is 2.5 m (8 ft).

Perimeter Island Stand

A Perimeter Island Stand contains perimeter wall structures, is greater than 4.6 m (15 ft) in height, has one or more Display levels and is unfinished on any side.

• Hanging signs, lighting trusses, materials or components are NOT permitted above Perimeter Island Stand Spaces.
• Exhibit materials and components will be permitted to a maximum height of 5.6 m (18 ft 4 in) provided written approval is requested from ABACE Management by February 25, 2013.
• Full use of the floor space is permitted.
• All Exhibitors occupying Island Stands (of any size), must submit scaled floor plans for approval to ABACE Management no later than February 25, 2013 Drawings should be submitted via e-mail to Linda Peters at lpeters@nbaa.org.

Non-Perimeter Island Stand

A Non-Perimeter Island Stand has aisles on all four sides.

• Hanging signs, lighting trusses, materials or components are NOT permitted above Stand Spaces.
• Perimeter hard walls occupying 50% of the Stand Space are NOT permitted.
• Exhibit materials, components and identification signs will be permitted to a maximum height of 4.6 m (15 ft) provided written approval is requested from ABACE Management on or before February 25, 2013.
• Full use of the purchased floor space is permitted.
• All Exhibitors occupying Island Stands (of any size), must submit scaled floor plans for approval to ABACE Management no later than February 25, 2013. Drawings should be submitted via e-mail to Linda Peters at lpeters@nbaa.org.

Island Stands

All Exhibitors in Island Stands must submit their Exhibit plans for approval to ABACE Management, by February 25, 2013.

Plans must include:

• Event name and Stand number
• Maximum number of occupants allowed
• Structural engineer’s stamp certifying that the platform can bear the maximum occupant load

Drawings for tents, awnings and canopies should include detailed plans showing size, height, location, anchoring areas and certification that the material is flame retardant.

Certain Stands may require fire watches, smoke detection devices, fire extinguishers, multiple exits, etc., as required by fire prevention officials.

All Exhibitors with Island and Covered Stands, regardless of size, must submit one copy of a sealed and scaled floor plan (with front and side elevations) to:
